I'm originally from Italy — born and raised in the vibrant city of Rome, where I spent many wonderful years living and working before relocating to Berlin in 2007.
Before university, I attended a classical high school focused on humanities, where I studied history, philosophy, and Greek and Latin philology, which greatly shaped my intellectual curiosity and perspective. My academic journey began with studies in sociology and media anthropology at La Sapienza University and culminated in earning my bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences from the University of Rome "Tor Vergata." My final thesis explored the fascinating and ever-evolving landscape of web application security and related privacy implications.
I'm the proud parent of two energetic children who keep me busy and inspired. I'm passionate about good food—especially pizza (and firmly believe pineapple has no place on it!)—and enjoy cooking for family and friends. In my downtime, I love attending live concerts and diving into documentaries about history, science, and culture.
My passion for technology started quite early: I was only a teenager in the mid-1980s when I received my first computer, a Commodore 64. I still vividly remember writing my very first lines of code using Basic and being captivated by the possibilities technology offered. This experience sparked a lifelong interest in computers and technology that has only grown stronger over the years.
I am a tech enthusiast who firmly believes that embracing innovative tools, methodologies, and approaches can enhance our quality of life and revolutionize the way we communicate. However, the key lies in their responsible and effective utilization. Hence, the importance of fostering a culture of ongoing and safe education is necessary.
